On December 23rd of 2024, the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) held a "Celebration Ceremony for Seafood Exports Reaching $10 Billion in 2024" in Ho Chi Minh City. The event recognized 49 enterprises for their contributions to this achievement.
The $10 billion milestone was reached through the combined efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture, VASEP, and the business community, who dedicated to boost productivity and competitiveness. This success highlights Vietnam's strong seafood industry and sets the stage for even greater goals.
The ceremony focused on celebrating both individual and collective achievements, with a forward-looking vision for future growth in the global seafood market.
GODACO Honored in the Top Excellent Seafood Exporting Enterprises in 2024
In 2024, seafood exports reached 10 billion USD, with key products such as shrimp (4 billion USD), tra fish (2 billion USD), tuna (1 billion USD), and other seafood items, affirming the position of Vietnam’s seafood industry in over 170 countries. Seafood companies have adapted flexibly, overcoming challenges while maintaining steady growth, particularly in shrimp and tra fish.
