On October 12, 2023, The People's Committee of Tien Giang province organized a celebration of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13) and honored and rewarded businesses in Tien Giang province in 2023.

Attending the Celebration were comrades: Nguyen Van Danh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly delegation of Tien Giang province; Nguyen Van Vinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Tran Van Dung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Huu Loi, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Thanh Dieu, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; together with leaders of departments, branches, localities and many businesses.
Total retail revenue of consumer goods and services in the next quarter is higher than the previous quarter, up 12.9% over the same period. Export continues to be a bright spot with the total value of export turnover reaching 3.71 billion USD, reaching 95.2% of the plan, up 23.7% over the same period.
The province attracted 13 new investment projects with a total registered investment capital of VND 5,600 billion, an increase of 27.5% over the same period in 2022.
Among them are 3 foreign investment projects; are 5 projects registered to increase capital with 1,172 billion VND, an increase of 7.5% over the same period.
In the first nine months of 2023, there were 662 newly established enterprises (including 60 enterprises developed from business households) with a total registered capital of 4,154 billion VND. The number of businesses returning to the market continued to record positive signs, with 285 businesses resuming operations.
To date, businesses in the province have been creating jobs for more than 200,000 workers, of which 94 FDI enterprises have created jobs for 103,600 workers; Tax payment and budget payment account for 56% of total tax revenue in the province.
